Safari to Maasai Mara (optional)
4-6 Aug '23
Following the ExtruAfrica seminar we are embarking on an exciting trip to the Maasai Mara. Keep in mind, space is limited!

The months of July and August are traditionally considered to be the best time to view the Great Migration. More than 1,5 million wildebeest migrate during this period and move in masse into Kenya from the southern Serengeti. This occurrence is viewed as one of the “Seven wonders of the natural world”.
Among other animals to join the wildebeest include the zebra and several species of herbivores. These animals might be greeted by an eager hunting party of big cats and therefor river crossings rank among the most sought-after moments of the great migration. Be sure to have a look out for the unique rare zebra which have black dots instead of stripes.

The average daytime temperature during this time is usually around 25°C while the night-time lows are around 10°C. We are looking forward to it!
